Over his time with Glaxo he had extensive experience in infectious disease and also led a major restructuring programme in the development organisation after the GSK merger.
In Surface Logix Inc he led the development group which successfully took three small molecules into clinical trials in the cardiovascular, metabolic and oncology therapeutic areas as well as leading commercial and business development activities.
He has provided consultancy advice on strategic, commercial and clinical issues for US based companies in oncology, diabetes and respiratory drug development projects and is also overseeing the preclinical to early clinical phase of a drug development project for a NZ based company.
